XSitePro - beautiful websites without the need of programming

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

Welcome to my little XSitePro review

Have you ever wondered how everyone seems to have a website these days? Lots of people have good-loking websites but you know that this person cannot write code or has no special graphical skills so the question is: how did they get their webpage without spending lots of money to a programmer?

Or imagine another scenario: actually you can code but it just takes months to get started with most of the web applications. And you would like to have a few useful applications and widgets at hand when you need them. Also a few well looking templates so you won’t have to do the whole work all by yourself or have to outsource it for a lot of money.

So what to do? Learn all the needed skills for programming, photoshop and a lot of other stuff you might wanted to realize online? Is there really a need for you to do it all by yourself, especially if you for example just want to do few pages just for fun where you just want to play around and not invest lots of work, time and money?

Okay, the good news is: there are software applications that lets you do all the things mentioned above with the click of a mouse. A Software that isn’t expensive and that is easy to use. There may be others too, but i’ve tested them all and the only one i can really recommend for ease of use and value for the money is XSitePro.

XSitePro is a powerful software which comes with about 200 ready to use graphical templates which are fully customizable. But you don’t have to rely on the templates, you can also start your page from scratch if you want. XSitePro WYSIWYG is a built-in editor which means if you can type your text in word you can use XSitePro. XSitePro comes with everything you would probably need: thousands of cliparts, a manual, the ability to embed video and audio (just select the file from your computer, XSitePro will do the rest), the ability to add RSS feeds, Google XML sitemaps, siloing feature, a built-in ftp client, tons of widgets like email cloaker, banner rotator, faq section, countdown timer and is also ready for monetization: just enter your Google publisher ID or your ID from amazon and other networks and you can directly embed the ads into your site. You’ll never have to leave the program for anything else. XSitePro is also ready to make your site available for mobile phones. Just a few clicks and all is done.

There is so much more one could write about XSitePro but there is only one thing you should know: i trust this software and the company and i trust XSitePro. I used it since 2007 and i am still using it for all my websites. And i am pretty sure you too will fall in love with XSitePro as soon as you start using it. Why don’t give it a try? Make use of the free trial version of XSitePro and see what it can do for you. There is nothing to loose and so much to gain. Now go to the home of XSitePro and download your copy. You will congratulate yourself afterwards for making such a wise decision. And your friends who thought “i never thought that X could do such a beautiful website…” will never know your secret. Except you tell them like i told you now. Enjoy!

3 Things You Must Avoid When Emailing Your List

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

When you decide to build an opt-in list, it is not just a matter of sending your subscribers your promotional newsletters or catalogs. There are many things to consider in avoiding complications. While there are so many ways you can encourage people to subscribe to your list, there are also some things you must do to avoid subscribers from wanting to unsubscribe from your list.

Aside from that, you also want to avoid any problems with the law and your internet service provider (ISP). There are now many laws and rules that are applied to help protect the privacy of internet users from spamming and unwanted mails. With the popularity of the electronic mail as a medium for marketing because of the low cost, many companys have seized the opportunity and have flooded many people’s email accounts with promotional mail.

But, with an opt-in list, you avoid this annoyance because people subscribe to the list; they want to receive the newsletters and promotional materials. They have consented to being on the list by subscribing themselves, just don’t forget to put an unsubscribe feature everytime in your opt-in list so that you avoid any confusion. There may be times when an email account was provided when the real owner didn’t want to subscribe.

By the way, if you don’t yet have an email list and could do with some help in making sure that you do everything correctly in building one, check out our free report available from http://ListBuildingBonanza.com.

It is essential that you keep your list clean and manageable. Arrange this by using the many tools and technologies available for your opt-in list. Don’t worry - your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales, then to profit.

Keep yourself and your business out of trouble and potential run-ins with the law and the internet service providers. Keep your operation legit and clean. Your reputation as a legitimate businessman and a legitimate site depends on your being a straight and true marketing strategist. As a tip, here are three things to avoid when emailing your list.

1) Take notice of your unsuccessful sends. These are the e-mails that bounce. Bounced emails, also known as undeliverable messages, are those messages that, for whatever reason, were not successfully received by the intended recipient.

There are bounces that happen or occur because the server was busy at that time, but can still be delivered at another time. There are also bounces because the inbox of the recipient is full at that time. There are those bounced messages that are simply undeliverable ever. The reason for this is that it may be an invalid email address, a mis-spelled email address, or an email address that was abandoned and erased already.

Manage your list by putting markings on those that bounce. Erase an email account from your list so that you have an accurate statistics and records as to how many are actually receiving your mail. You may also want to check the spellings of your email addresses in your list. One common mistake is when an N instead of an M is placed in the .com area.

2) Always provide an unsubscribe feature in your site and an unsubscribe link in your mails. When someone in your list files a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don’t take them off your list and keep sending them your e-mails, you are now sending them spam mail.

When you are reported as a spammer, you and your business can get into a lot of trouble. You can be reported to the authorities and maybe blacklisted by many internet service providers. You will lose a lot of subscribers this way, and many more in potential subscribers.

3) Do not provide pornographic or shocking and disturbing content in your newsletters. It is hard to decipher the age of the recipient and many complaints may stem from these. Controversial issues also are to be avoided in order to not be branded by your subscribers. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Always remember these three tips so that you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending mails to an opt-in list.

Really? A Free Laptop?

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

Yes, really.

In this day and age, with laptop and all computer prices continuing to get lower and lower many companies are now giving away free laptops. In light of this, many people do take advantage of these offers and get themselves a full fledged, brand new notebook computer for absolutely no cost.

Often, to get a free laptop all it really takes is to fill out a simple form. Some others will ask that you fill out a survey or complete alternate offers but really - considering that some laptops start out at around three hundred dollars and can cost in the thousands then the cost of filling out a few forms with a little information to get a free laptop is actually a very reasonable price (many times all that is asked for is your information, sure, they’ll send you advertising and the like but really…you’re getting a free computer out of it so what the heck right?).

Some people worry that when they hear about getting a free laptop that it’s another case of ‘if it is too good to be true then it probably is’. Well, it’s absolutely true that people are getting notebook computers for absolutely nothing. These aren’t just garbage brand laptops either, these are brand name laptops with histories of being great computers.

So, if you’re worried that your free laptop is going to be of sub-par quality…don’t be. They’re the same computers being sold in the stores and online. Don’t hesitate, find a site that’s making the offer and go out and get your laptop for free.  As previously stated, it’s usually quite simple and a painless and many times you may be able to even find more than one offer: meaning, you may be able to get more than one for completely no cost.

Scotland Debt Help with a Trust Deed Arrangement

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

A Scottish Trust Deed is a binding voluntary arrangement, available to residents of Scotland in place of Sequestration (Bankruptcy).

It is the same in principle to an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) which is available to residents of England and Wales.

Once agreed, your creditors will not be able to add any interest and/or additional charges e.g. wage arrestment, debt collectors and bankruptcy, to recover debts due to them to your Trust Deed account. It also protects you from other creditor demands and more importantly once it is complete, it enables you to write off the balance of your debt, which will take up to 3 years.

In order to finalise your Scottish Trust Deeds you will almost certainly have to release equity in your house into the Trust Deed. This is usually as part of the final settlement and will help clear your debts once and for all. However, there are additional tactics that can be triggered to protect your house such as “buy-back” or extra cash contributions.

If you are not able to keep up with repayments because of changes in your circumstances, then your trustee in the Trust Deed can request a variation to reflect your new circumstances. Likewise if you have come into a sizeable amount of money you should also tell your supervisor.

Just to sum up. A Trust Deed provides the following:

- Get rid of all the debt you can’t afford

- Make just one affordable monthly payment

- Be debt free, normally in three years

- Stop worrying about legal action by your creditors

- Avoid bankruptcy / sequestration

And to quality for a Debt Help Scotland Trust Deed and it’s advantages

If you are a Scottish resident and struggling with unsecured debts of ten thousand pounds or more, a Trust Deed could be the perfect solution for you. You will know exactly how much it will cost you every month, and when your debts will be paid off.

The ABC’s of Fun Potty Training

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

The fastest way to potty training success is to get your child as involved in the process as possible. This also makes the process fun. The problem, though, is not all kids are interested in learning to use the toilet. When this happens we need to revise our strategies and find new ways to motivate our children.

When you decide it’s time to begin potty training, set your child up for success. Maintain a sense of humor and a positive attitude. Before starting it is important to carefully consider your current strategy. Is your child easily able to pull her own pants up and down? If not, it would be a good idea to get pants that are a bit larger so your child will find the job easier. Take a look at the clothes she wears to the routine she goes through using the toilet. Consider all aspects of toilet training from the child’s perspective.

It is very important to stay consistent with the training. Each time she needs to use the toilet she should be offered the same amount of support. Be consistent with the same basic routine. Inconsistency will confuse your child and she will have a difficult time knowing what to expect.

Your long-term goal here is to let her use the facilities on her own. At a certain point, you will notice that constantly telling her when to go is counter-productive. While reminders can be helpful, try not to overdo them.

Potty training does not need to be a daunting chore. Indeed the best results happen when kids are having fun and great time. By working with your child and offering her tons of praise and encouragement soon you and your child will enjoy a diaper-free life.

Soccer is the name of the game

Thursday, January 8th, 2009

442fotball.no is the name of the blog that is on every Norwegian soccer fan’s lip these days. Golden nuggets in form of great articles is written every week and just a few weeks ago they wrote a great article about the Norwegian youngster Per Ciljan Skjelbred. The you player did a fantastic impression in the game between Rosenborg of Trondheim and Brann of Bergen.

Skjelbred impressed with his work moral, driblings and passes. Agents from english Premier League clubs Blackburn and Newcastle is interested in his services and was watching from the stands. 442fotball.no was there too. English clubs have for some time now been watching Skjelbred with the intend to bring the kid to England. Since Skjelbred injured his leg two years ago, he has showed and impressive comeback and many believe that he will be playing in the Norwegian national team soon.

The game against Brann ended in a draw, 0-0, but Per Ciljan Skjelbred did his job in midtfield, serving Rosenborgs attacker Steffen Iversen passes that should have resultet in several goals. Iversen is not in his best form and went off the field goal less. If Rosenborgs attackers would have shown the same form as the rest of the team, like Skjelbred, Rosenborg would have won by several goals, even if Brann got some chances near the end of the game. Branns captain and midtfielder Eirik Bakke, was totally “run over” by Skjelbred and the rest of Rosenborgs midtfielders. You could not tell that Bakke is the one with the most experience, from England and the Norwegian national team.

Visist 442fotball.no and read norwegian articles about Norwegian and international soccer or fotball as we say it in Europe.
